The Review.

You play as Alex Mercer. you have lost all of your memory, but awoken in a morgue to a world in which you possess unknown superpowers. A viral outbreak has taken Manhattan, forcing the island into a military quarantine. The corrupted citizens are undergoing radical, uncanny changes. you as a anti-hero find yourself with the ability to shape shift and absorb other beings.

Prototype is a single player, open-world action game. You play as a man gifted with superhuman powers and the option to go most anywhere you like and do most anything you want once you get there. It's game with a heavy focus on pure action. All Though you play as a Human rewarded with superhuman powers, Alex Mercer is far from heroic. There are no noble choices here. Alex is determined to kill those responsible for his situation. To gain new powers or refill your health, you'll have to absorb it from other living beings. if you find yourself a bit to low on health you can simply grab an innocent pedestrian, you can crush their head, and then consume them for a boost. If you find yourself in a fight with choppers chasing you through the streets, you can absorb a person and morph into their likeness to blend in with the crowd.

As you work your way through the game you'll unlock new powers. There's air dash and glide powers that help you quickly travel from one side of the island to the other. There's a awesome elbow drop power that can one hit a tank! These moves gives Prototype its Action game feel. These are what set it apart from most other action games and make it worth playing.
There are some guns to fire and some tanks you can drive around, But what makes this game All round spectaular is the powers.

Messing around with the powers isn't all there is to do in Prototype. The storyline Gives us 31 missions to play. Most of these missions are standard in design.

My Rating.

My rating for [PROTOTYPE] is a Nerve breaking 9.1.
Thing this game has all the key points a Action game needs.
Beside the graphics and textures. This game is truly Epic.
you will get bored of this game. But you will always come back to it if you fancy a bit of fun.
